Hermès Marwari Bag
I normally dislike shoulder bags, including messenger bags. I think I overdosed on them several years ago. Cross body bags in particular annoy me because they rumple your clothes, pill sweaters and often ruin your silhouette.
The Hermès Marwari GM is the exception to the rule. I love it. I find the style completely unisex and I like that its single handle rests on one shoulder. The open top keeps all your belongings within easy reach, but the short strap and small buckle keeps them safe under your arm. The exterior pocket is great to keep smaller items close at hand, rather than losing them at the bottom of the bag. Surprisingly roomy, it would make an excellent travel bag, keeping your map, camera and umbrella handy. I especially love it in Etoupe, shown above. A modern classic in a perfect four season color.
