Review: Kate Somerville Facial

Alrighty loyal readers, I am back! Sorry for the slight delay in updates- I have been super busy at work and seriously have been avoiding the computer because I've been so tired when I get home!

Some people have been emailing me asking for more hair and makeup reviews so I thought I would share my experience at Kate Somerville 2 weeks ago. I got the "Kate Somerville Signature Facial" with Jill and it was wonderful! She was super nice and did a great job- my skin was glowing when I left. I am trying to get a facial every 4-6 weeks until the wedding (only 4.5 months away!) and would highly recommend Kate Somerville to anyone in the LA area. For all you True Blood fans I ran into Anna Paquin while I was there!

The decor is very tranquil and really sets the mood.

Facial rooms are decorated in shades of white.

Some products that I would recommend are the Gentle Daily Wash, the Nourish Daily Moisturizer and the ExfoliKate. She also used the Mineral Mud Mask on me and I really liked it but didn't purchase it this time.

As far as other skin care products, I swear by Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash (either the green or pink tube versions) and Josie Maran Argan Oil- I use these two products at night and the Kate Somerville cleanser and moisturizer during the day... I also use the ExfoliKate 2-3 times a week and my Clarisonic brush 3-4 times a week.
