Clarks Originals Desert Boots

After covering some of my favorite designer desert boot inspired footwear yesterday, I decided to check out the original: Clarks Originals Desert Boot. Inspired by the natural suede crepe-soled footwear made in Cairo for British officers during World War II, Clarks Originals Desert Boot has remained unchanged since its introduction in 1950.

Footwear of choice from the UK mods to Steve McQueen in The Great Escape, Clarks Originals Desert Boots are a great alternative to sneakers. I bought a pair in the classic Sand suede. The natural crepe soles are super comfortable and have a nice bounce. No socks please.
