Monday morning shop post - Spacecraft
Spacecraft has nothing to do with UFOs. What it's about is excellence in design and textile printing. The brains behind Spacecraft is Stewart Russell. He's a very creative and innovative designer who marries creativity with functionality. He has produced a range of very desirable products that have a uniqueness about them.
It's stocked with goodies such as bedlinen, patchwork quilts, cushions and screen printed artworks...
I particularly like these cushions and cubes (maybe because they're green)...
These cubes are incredible - a range of different images are combined so that really no two storage cubes are the same...
The shop also carries a small range of carefully crafted and edited clothing...
But what I'd really like to purchase from Spacecraft are a set of these hexagons (they come in circles too) - we're about to embark on a complete renovation of our son's room (i.e. replastering, built in robes, new cornice, skirting boards, painting, carpet etc.) and I think a set of hexagons would look sensational on his bedroom wall...
First up,
Whilst Spacecraft products are distributed through Nest in Victoria, Planet, Planet Commonwealth and Mark Tuckey in New South Wales, and Empire in Western Australia, here in Melbourne we're lucky enough to have a dedicated retail outlet. It's situated at 225 Gertrude Street, Fitzroy, and this is what it looks like...

This pic of a screen printed artwork doesn't do justice to the real thing - the grey and silver tones in this piece of art are luminous...

All images are from Spacecraft.
I hope you've enjoyed this Monday's shop post (if you like, you could always let me know by leaving a 'yay' or 'nay' comment). Have a good week.
