Ann Demeulemeester Fall 2010 High Waisted Pants

The Fall 2010 arrivals are slowly trickling into my favorite stores and I have been keen on these Ann Demeulemeester high waisted pants since I first saw them featured prominently in her Fall 2010 show. The high waist can be worn slightly folded down as the wool fabric is soft and drapes beautifully. The waist doubles over the fly with a single button and is then cinched with a self-belt creating a large pleat of sorts. The loose silhouette attenuates dramatically from the knee down. These clever pants will add a new twist to my fall wardrobe.
