In “I Am Love,” an exquisite new film by the Italian director Luca Guadagnino, Emma, played by the luminous Tilda Swinton, lives the ultimate life of Luxury. Yet, all the finery of her chic 1930s villa, divine Damiani jewelry, effortless Jil Sander couture and exclusive Hermés bags are just a fragile veil. The sumptuous trappings of a Milanese housewife may not be enough for Emma. Operatic in scale and breathtakingly beautiful with a haunting score by composer John Adams. Thrilling.
