Luxury Possession: Hermès Men's Lodge Boots Fall 2010
Everyone knows I love boots. For Fall 2010, I was searching for a tall mid-calf pair without laces, something dressy enough to wear with a long coat, but not so formal that I couldn't kick around in a tee shirt and jeans. The Hermès Lodge Boot is more of a refined motorcycle boot than a riding boot. They are crafted of Black calfskin with leather soles and have a beautiful double zipper detail with the signature "Plume" zipper pull of the house. The Hermès Lodge Boot toe box is neither too round, nor too square, just perfect. The rugged tread sole is recessed from the edge to maintain the elegant line. And, as always with Hermès, they are fully lined in tan calfskin.
Available only at Hermès boutiques.
