Go Philippines!!! Sugod Filipinas!!!

If it were up to me, delegates from my team would be marching at the opening ceremonies toting bags from the Spring 2007 Olympe collection.

Blast from the Past: The Roundry

Resurrecting from the archives of the Fall Winter 2003 Runway show, this interesting piece of arm candy is something I have yet to see. With its vibrant red, mimicking the falling leaves of the season, I could imagine myself carrying it whilst wearing a dark velvet coat and my pomme d'amour belt cinching it. Sadly, I am half a decade late in appreciating this Marc Jacobs creation. LVoe the S-lock!!!

Yooohoooo, Jerome!!!

Globe Shopper Cruise 2006

Miami here we come!

Last week, Jerome and I decided that we were going to Miami to visit our dear lil' friend, Arjay. The PTO's have been filed and the tickets booked. Now all we need to decide is what new purchases shall we bring on our trip? Or shall we just save them for the Bal?! Suggestions my readers, please!

Of course, my posting will not be complete without a pic of Miami's most illustrious resident! Photo: Zip Fall Winter 2003 Tweedy Collection

Blast From the Past: That's LoVe tote

Fine silk satin
that was created by Marc Jacobs, who stated you can't spell the word LOVE without the letters "LV". This hand-stitched tote takes over 20 hours and 5,000 sequins to create. It came also with a canvas version and bugle beads as sported by Scarlett Johannson in their '07 Summer-Spring ads. The hefty price tag of $1860 made people shy away from the flimsy product. 'Shy' being used loosely because it is completely sold out in the US! I read that they are still available in 101 Champs-Élysées. A LoVe 2 version came out with Miroir lettering on canvas that suited the budget savvy LVoer. Those being only in $600-$800 range. LVoe it!!!

Trompe-l'œil revisited

With Fall just around the corner...ahem...(it'z 100 degress in DC and I need to justify my Sprouse scarf), I found this provocative pic of Miss Johannson from 2004. I've always LVoed this line but it seems that only the pochette was the big seller. I have yet to see the other pieces from the collection and would like to satisfy my tactile curiosity. The combination of mink and her glowing skin brings the photo to perfection!
LVOE IT!!! Check out my previous posting from almost a year ago: Blast from the Past.

Another Blast from the Past

Every now and then I see this Globe Shopper Tote from 2006 and I realized that I have yet to feature it here. I was searching the net for pics and I found this, but, I am more interested in the little Suhali right next to it. Is this still available? Photo: cecile

Blast from the Past: Damier Géant Conquerant 65 ad from Arjay's post a year ago. Sigh...I miss swimming...

Blast from the Past

Just surfing the net for an ideal camera case for my trip and found these old runway pics from 2002. The Monogram Mesh, seasonal/runaway pieces that doesn't hold a ton but does have a lot of style. I've seen a couple come up at auction and they seem to be pretty interesting. (Much has to be said for slinky purses) Now, if only I had a time machine! Photos: tPF PS. Oh my gosh, I did more digging up on this bag and apparently the name of it is 'Frances'! This probably is going to be my Holy Grail of purses!

Blast from the Past

Jerome found this pic on the pages of an old 2007 Details mag from the gym. Needless to say, his eyes grew to the size of saucers. Can you blame him?! The pure whiteness of the Bequiasque porte document is simply to die for! Unfortunately, this ad was produced a tad bit ahead of my obsession with Vuitton. So, if anyone could give the name and what line this bag is from (I am guessing Bequia), it would highly be appreciated. Thanks, LVoe it!

Blast from the Past

I used my Mini Lin today and I realized how much I LVoe it. The material is simply gorgeous even with age. I wish LV would expand this collection. I found this travel bag online from around 2005 and I could just imagine my initials boldly emblazoned in red. I did see one that was similar from my Dallas trip and wished that I purchased it. Sigh...Marc... Bag: Initiales Mini Lin Keepall

Blast from the Past

How cute is this?
Theda GM Mini Mongram Gold from the Spring Summer 2004 Collection

I just found this...

...absolutely gorgeous print ad of the Gracie with Chloe Sevigny. Of course I am partial to the Velours line and even though this was from season's past, I still LVoe it!

The Marilyn

An homage to Marilyn Monroe, this ample evening bag could also be used as an occasional for those lazy brunches in the middle of the week. Released in several incarnations from vache trim, to colorful exotics and the latest, gold leather! This has got to be my most favorite multicolore that definitely does justice to Norma Jean. Vache $1310 (current), Gold (May-June release) $1550, Exotics (limited edition 2007) $4950. Visit www.louisvuitton.com

WOW, would you have paid $210,000 for this?

This clutch was a 2006 release and I found it surfing the old posts of tPF. Is it really worth it? Did someone actually buy it? Post your comments ladies and gents, I wanna know what you think! Mr. Jacobs, can you send this to me for my birthday?!
