Awhile ago a reader emailed me and was hoping I could find an alternative to J Crew's pixie pant which retail for $88.


These pants from Forever 21 aren't exactly like the J Crew version, but they are pretty similar so I thought I'd post them as an inspired by item. They retail for $19.80 and you can click on the photo below to purchase.

When I was in J Crew yesterday, one of the girls working had the cutest black and white sweater on. Turns out it was this J Crew long marled cardigan that retails for $128.

Lanvin flats are gorgeous, but incredibly pricey. Nicole Richie has been seen in several different colors/fabrics but here are a few looks for less in patent and satin.

Lanvin Patent Ballet Flats from Barneys. $515 and $495

Target has an adorable version for a much more budget friendly price!! The Simone Stretch Ballet Flats by Xhilaration are a steal at only $14.99. These also come in red, brown, and pewter.

Don't like the patent leather look? Lanvin also makes satin flats for $480.


Out of your price range? Try Scoop NYC's version of the satin ballet flat. $125 in various colors including brown (shown), black, purple, navy, light pink, etc.

Lanvin also makes a gorgeous gold flat for $545 at Barneys.

You can get a similar look for less at J Crew on sale for $79.99.

If you want a similar sweatshirt, this version from Gap Body is a great lookalike and will save you about $20. It retails for $29.50 and also comes in oatmeal, purple, or blue.
