Galavanting with my Griet

My Red Period

I've always wanted an accesory pouch to handle the little things in life. For the past few months, a freebee toiletry case sufficed. But lately, with my red phase in full throttle, I couldn't help but grab this tempting petit pochette. My latest acquisition: Red Epi Pochette Accesoires, August 6, 2008.

New Mink with Fleurs

Imagine my excitement when I saw a re-release for this season of the mink stole from 2004. The differences are is that the newer version has three mink flowers attached to one end with Louis Vuitton signed silver rivets. Disappointingly though, the back lining is made out of fabric as opposed to the older version that was all fur. Still, it's luxury at it's finest as I almost fainted at the sight of it. $2250 at your nearest LV boutique.

Cienture Vernis N 30, Chevy Chase, MD, 3 août, 2008. LVoe it!!!

Telephonique Nouvelle

After a year and seven months of capturing photos and speed-dialing 1-866 from my lil' N80ie Nokia , I finally had to say goodbye to him when he woke up yesterday with a broken screen. I dunno what happened! It's like losing an old friend. So, I set off today to the nearest wireless kiosk with a heavy heart and got myself a new phone. The criteria was not fettered with the latest technology such as GSM networks, GHZ's and GB's, but it comprised of only two queries: a) Will it fit my Louis Vuitton cigarette case? and b) Does it have a slit to hang my Monogram charm?

Welcome Home Wilfredo!

It was a fabulous day to be out and about especially with good friends.

I did something baa-aaa-aaaaaa-aaaad!!!

Happy Birthday, America!!!

I think Mr. Washington looks quite fetching with my Speedy Mini Lin.

Rare is the day...

...that I would set my Speedy on the ground. But, seeing my country's name in such an unexpected place is a rare day indeed!

The rest of my afternoon was free...

...so guess where I went...

and then I saw this...a poor lil' Delft all caged up in glass and leftover from last season's Fall Winter line. I felt like I was at a pet adoption center and I was all but ready to sign my life away to taking care of this exotique.

Flash Floods in DC

Around 2:30 in the afternoon today, torrential rains poured in the District, causing a mini flash flood. It lasted a total of 15 mins. Here's my Brazza being washed away in the gutter like a paper boat.

First day out of Mon Monogram

I decided to take my Speedy Mon Monogram out today since it was a gorgeous morning. Jeff and I spent the better half of it cleaning our garden. I was so worried though, because this is the first time that I have had an LV that came straight from the factory. The vachetta is virgin white that I knew that extra precautions is imperative in its maiden voyage. Thankfully, nothing happened and it arrived safe and sound. I did get a little something on our way home... GM Agenda Pen, Fairfax Square, Va, June 22, 2008.
