Special Jamais for RP exhibit

In honour of the upcoming exhibition of Richard Prince's work at the Serpentine Gallery, London, Louis Vuitton is releasing a limited edition Jamais, that combines ostrich with the white Aquarelle canvas. Each bag will be individually numbered with the artist's signature and will also have a personalized tag for the discriminating collector. Proceeds would benefit the gallery. I wasn't impressed when I saw this in real life next to the Kate I bought a couple of weeks back. I think it's too pricey ($1470) for what you are getting. Now I realized though, seeing it in Miss Claudia's hand what a fantastic look this could be for those special nites. Comes in plum, ivory and black.

The Vernis Alma
Pride Weekend has now passed and I'm shipping Arjay back to Miami tonite. So, I am now at liberty to blog once more without any further distractions. Not that it was at all unpleasant for it was filled with a delightful whirlwind of dinners, shopping, a parade and street festival to boot! In the midst of this hectic schedule, I was able to snuck in to LV and view
for myself the newly released Alma Vernis (June 15). I must confess that I was not planning to buy it (since I did an LV mid-year inventory just recently) but it took every ounce of my will power to refrain from doing so. I instantly fell in LVoe with the amarante. It's sweet, clean lines and luscious deep color simply took my breath away. One bit that I noticed though, was that LV didn't use alcantara for its lining. All in all it's a great bag and I'm sure it will be a keeper for anyone who owns it. As I write this, I am still resisting the urge to call my SA...

The Motard Biker
Jerome and I had the opportunity to waitlist (ah...este) play with this $13,000-bag last night. The Motard Biker weighs a ton,
but the new color combination of exotic moss green and gray
is truly a sight to behold.
The bag is divided into three compartments, having a middle "framed" section. It is made of luxurious calf leather with the monogram flowers intricately stitched onto it. The attention to detail can be seen through the use of high quality, gleeming hardware. All in all, I LVoe this bag. It comes with a slightly "cheaper" pochette with removable strap that could function as a belt for the bargain price of $7K. Visit your local boutique to view this baby.
