Junya Watanabe MAN Spring 2010 Sale
Well, two days ago it soared over 100 degrees here in NYC and I've been missing a pair of slim black shorts that are dressy enough that I can get away with them at work. I saw these Junya Watanabe MAN Black cotton/nylon faille shorts at the beginning of the season, but the price was a bigger splurge than I could justify. The super slim cut and the longer length, just past the knee (apparently I am shorter than the model), make them work appropriate and razor sharp with a White shirt and Black derbies. They actually remind me very much of the Spring 2011 Comme des Garçons Men's show I discuss here. Love the gingham detail in the waistband and the rear pocket flap.
Well, I got lucky. 50% off at Bloomingdale's Soho. Woot!
