Hermès Dip Dye Scarf
I am in love with this scarf. The deep, rich jewel tones are perfect for the Fall/Winter season. The pattern is abstract and mysterious due to the new Dip Dye process. A modern interpretation of the most iconic and best-selling Hermès scarf of all time, originally launched in 1957: Brides de Gala.
From the Hermès website:
A great classic revisited in a vintage spirit, the Surteint / Dip Dye carré plays with colour on an emblematic House design. The fruit of an innovative technique and the result of an artisanal procedure, the carré is immersed in a dye bath that covers it with a colour filter and gives it the velvety feel of washed silk. Its aged, patinated appearance and irregularities in colour are the expression of its charm and unique identity. Unbelievable as it may be, with this carré, Hermès embraces imperfections! We recommend that you have your carré cleaned by a professional dry cleaner. Please keep in mind that rain can damage printed silk.
