How long is a piece of string?

Firstly, I must apologise for the lack of posts this week. It's been a tough week. I hope next week will be better.

So, how long is a piece of string, or twine, or raffia? As long as you cut it!

String and twine are such beautiful, practical, utalitarian products. What would we do without them? With string or twine we can make things, tie our newspapers for recycling, wrap gifts, hold plants to stakes, and so much more. Looking at these images of string, twine and raffia, it's easy to see the beauty in such everyday products...
