Jean Paul Gaultier pour Opening Ceremony

OK, so I've got a thing for French Sailor stripes. This long sleeve tee is part of a new USA vs. France design partnership by Opening Ceremony. The collaboration with former "enfant terrible" Jean Paul Gaultier re-envisions the charming nautical-striped shirt, worn by the Breton matelot, with unique button details and streaked logo stripe. While the styles are considered unisex, the sizing is Women's, so if ordering for a man, go up 1-2 sizes.

Available exclusively at Opening Ceremony here. $270 USD.

Deyrolle for Opening Ceremony Silk Scarves

An unlikely collaboration between two of my favorite shops brings quirky Parisian taxidermy and downtown NY hip together in a kaleidoscopic crash. Featuring the mounted animals and insects of Deyrolle by photographer Bastien Lattanzio printed on silk scarves.

Exclusively at Opening Ceremony here. $95 USD.

Comme des Garçons: Luxury

Luxury Obssessed is pleased to announce that Comme des Garçons has released the Luxury Group edition of their coveted small leather goods for Fall/Winter 2010. The diamond embossed leather is a witty wink to the classic embossed leathers of Louis Vuitton, Prada, Chanel and Hermés.

I chose this small zipped style in Burgundy to hold my iPhone and some cash. $145 USD.

All styles available in Tan, Blue, Burgundy, Chocolate and Black.

Available at Opening Ceremony here.

Alexander Wang Goth Grandpa

I just bought this Alexander Wang hooded cardigan sweater in Black from Opening Ceremony. With its goth grandpa vibe and relaxed fit, it is the perfect layering piece for Fall. The lightweight knit merino/wool/nylon/cashmere blend is super soft and snuggly and the double ribbed cuffs are a unique signature detail.

The Alexander Wang hooded cardigan is also available in Charcoal and Cocoa Heather (Cocoa feels more hippie) from Alexander Wang's website here. $196 USD.

Repetto Zizi Homme

Everything old is new again. I was feeling the need for a lightweight, Black, warm weather shoe, sort of the male equivalent of the ballet flats all my girlfriends are wearing. Then it hit me. Repetto Zizi Homme, the Black goatskin lace up slipper that was favored by Serge Gainsbourg and Mick Jagger and are now available at Opening Ceremony. If you can pull off white, please do.

Available here. $310 USD.

“Working with the quintessential Parisian shoe brand is the perfect way to kick off our year of celebrating France and French designers at Opening Ceremony,” Humberto Leon, the co-founder and creative director of Opening Ceremony.
